The Hilo Daijingu at 10 Anela St. will hold its 5th Bi-Annual Garage Sale on Saturday, June 2, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the corner of Puainako and Anela streets.
The Hilo Daijingu at 10 Anela St. will hold its 5th Bi-Annual Garage Sale on Saturday, June 2, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the corner of Puainako and Anela streets.
Proceeds will be used to help the Hilo Daijingu congregation maintain its shrine grounds. A wide variety of items will be for sale, including books, clothing, crafts, electronics, furniture, household/kitchenware, plants and more.
There also will be an array of onolicious foods, including bento, “Beautiful Rice,” cone sushi, sekihan, Asami’s Kitchen Makizushi, cookies, sengiri daikon, takuan, pipinola narazuke, hot dogs, chips, drinks and many others.
No early-bird shopping will be allowed, and there will be no pre-sale of food items.
